What does a Transcendental Experiential Artist paint?
I literally find inspiration in so many daily experiences. Two of my favorites are:

I created this painting after hearing a friend's poem:
"As innocence is to infants a happy smile,
Love is to the day a happy dawn."

After I became disabled with
fibromyalgia in 2003 and
bipolar disorder in 2007, I discovered during art
therapy that some brief painting sessions can
sometimes temporarily distract me from pain and
other symptoms. I also found that with painting, I could
create whatever message I wish to convey--that is,
I needn't wait for an event to photograph.
Additionally with painting, I don't have to crop undesired items from the composition as I
sometimes must for a more aesthetic photo.

As mentioned in my profile in the Argus-Courier newspaper, I strive to leave a wake of
positivism wherever I go. Check out my other
paintings to see if they do so for you!

You’ll see that I sign my art with the name
W.Azure. The nickname of Azure found me
when I relocated to Petaluma in 2005. To this day, I am still awestruck by the beautiful azure
blue skies of California and contemplate:
Life is good.
